Über die Darstellung von Zahlen im F-System

Abstract

Das Zahlensystem der Fakultaten, in diesen Ausfuhrungen kurz F-System genannt, ist Gegenstand dieser Betrachtungen. Es geht speziell um die Nachkommadarstellungen reeller Zahlen im F-System, weil diese interessante und abweichende Darstellungsformen im Vergleich zu den ublichen g-adischen Darstellungen aufweisen: Alle rationalen Zahlen haben im F-System eine abbrechende Darstellung. Periodische Darstellungen gibt es fur rationale Zahlen im F-System nicht. Irrationale Zahlen besitzen generell nichtabbrechende F-Darstellungen. Periodizitat in der Nachkommadarstellung ist im F-System ein Kennzeichen fur Transzendenz. Das gilt sowohl fur periodische wie arithmetisch-periodische F-Darstellungen. Zahlen mit einer arithmetisch-periodischen F-Darstellung behalten diese Darstellung, wenn sie mit rationalen Zahlen multipliziert werden.
