Abstract
In the light of the global focus on climate change and the Covid-19 pandemic this thesis seeks to investigate the subjective experience of eco-anxiety in a world affected by the coronavirus. With an existential psychological approach, I study the phenomenon “eco-anxiety” with an understanding of Irvin D. Yalom’s idea of the four ultimate concerns of the human existence: death, freedom, isolation and meaninglessness. The climate changes affect the natural environment in many ways, and I therefore find it relevant to include the human-nature relationship in the experience of changing climate events.
