İnternet bağımlılığı ve Covid 19 pandemi süreci arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has radically changed many aspects of human life and global society, both now and in the years to come. Digitalization, which has been discussed for many years in the knowledge management literature, and the acceleration of predicted trends have constituted an important aspect of change. People are encouraged to adapt to the "new normal" due to the urgent need in areas such as business, education, health, entertainment, leisure and online commerce. Throughout the epidemic, there has been an increase in the use of technology in almost every aspect of life to obtain information, meet vital needs and maintain social connections. The aim of this study is to investigate how the internet use progresses by considering the habits that people have acquired along with the fear of disease during the pandemic process, and in this study, the relationship between the fear of coronavirus and internet addiction have been examined. The research examined the relationship between internet addiction of university students who attend Istanbul Gelişim University, during Covid-19 pandemic process. The research has been prepared in accordance with the "relational screening model". It has been found that as the fear of coronavirus increases, internet addiction increases and 4% of internet addiction is positively affected by the fear of coronavirus.
