Fiscal policy during Covid-19: A scientific excamination of the effects from a pandemic on a national economy.

Abstract
This paper seeks to examine the Covid-19 crisis’ influence on the state of Denmark’s fiscal policy. Through the lens of the macroeconomic theories of Keynes and Adam Smith, we compare the financial crisis of 2008 to the current shock in the economy Covid-19 has inflicted. Furthermore, we apply mixed scanning theory on policymaking to look into the decisions made by the sitting government on controlling the outbreak and supporting the economy during its temporary suspension.
