Dégradation des conditions de vie et de logement des 18-24 ans. Crise du Covid-19

Abstract

Publication de l'INJEP; Les jeunes adultes âgés de 18 à 24 ans ont largement été touchés par la crise sanitaire liée au Covid-19, de leur expérience de l’emploi à la question du travail domestique, en passant par leurs conditions de logement. Ce sont les jeunes des classes les moins favorisées, les femmes et les jeunes en emploi qui ont été les plus touchés par les effets de la crise : près de la moitié des 18-24 ans en emploi ont déclaré avoir été totalement ou en partie en chômage partiel à cette période. Du côté des étudiants, on observe à la fois un retour chez les parents et une diminution des ressources liées à l’activité rémunérée en complément des études. La crise sanitaire souligne l’hétérogénéité des conditions de vie de la jeunesse et exacerbe les inégalités entre les jeunes d’une même classe d’âge.
