Abstract

Noticia publicada en la web del ISCIII el día 18/05/2021 El Instituto de Salud Carlos III (ISCIII) ha presentado este martes los resultados preliminares del ensayo clínico CombivacS, que está evaluando la respuesta del sistema inmunitario (inmunogenicidad) y la seguridad asociada al uso de una pauta de vacunación heteróloga (combinación de diferentes vacunas) frente al coronavirus SARS-CoV-2. El estudio CombivacS es el primero a escala mundial que ofrece datos sobre la inmunogenicidad derivada del uso combinado de dos vacunas distintas; se trata de un ensayo clínico fase 2, aleatorizado con proporción 2:1, multicéntrico y adaptativo, en el que se ha analizado la administración de la vacuna Comirnaty contra el coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 (BioNtech/Pfizer) en personas menores de 60 años que ya habían recibido una primera y única dosis de Vaxzevria (AstraZéneca); las personas participantes debían estar como mínimo en la octava semana post-primera dosis.
