Abstract

Dünyada pandemi sonrası feminist hareketler artacak! Dünya genelinde salgın döneminde kadına karşı aile içi şiddetin artış gösterdiğine dikkat çeken Siyaset Bilimi ve Uluslararası İlişkiler Uzmanı Elif Şahin, “Özellikle gelişmemiş ve gelişmekte olan ülkelerde salgının olumsuz etkileri, kadınların hali hazırda deneyimledikleri sosyoekonomik istikrarsızlık ve cinsiyet eşitsizliği üzerinden kendini göstermeye başladı. Salgından sonra feminist hareketin sesi daha gür çıkacak” dedi. Dünyanın Covid-19’un yarattığı krizin ekonomik sonuçlarıyla yüzleşmeye başladığını belirten konuşan İstanbul Gelişim Üniversitesi’nden Siyaset Bilimi ve Uluslararası İlişkiler Uzmanı Elif Şahin, “Salgının toplumsal cinsiyete bağlı ayrımcılık ve şiddet açısından yaratacağı sonuçlar da tartışılmaya başlandı. Özellikle Arap dünyasında kadınların iş gücüne katılımındaki düşüş feminist hareketin kriz döneminde sesini yükseltmesi için önemli bir fırsat olarak görülüyor” diye konuştu.
