    The aim of this paper is to investigate the impact of social distance on people during COVID-19 pandemic using twitter sentiment analysis through a comparison between the k-means clustering and Mini-Batch k-means clustering approaches. To find the most common frequent words, two datasets have been investigated (WHO and Bahrain ministry of health datasets) to be as data preparation and exploration. Another two datasets (English and Arabic datasets) are used in the clustering of k-means. In this paper, a comparison between k-means and Mini-Batch k-means is performed to find a pattern. The word frequency shows that there are several words related to the pandemic. The sentiment analysis result show that in USA, Australia, Nigeria, Canada, and England, most tweets are neutral. However, the majority of tweets are positive tweets from both Italy and India. In addition, the k-means cluster in the English dataset reveals several cluster trends where COVID-19 pandemic procedures are addressed in cluster 1, and health workers are encouraged in cluster 3.

    COVID-19 disclosed how public institutions efficiency is important. Governance, administration and management support state efficiency. Management cares to operationalise legal framework and policy measures. In EU environment, in industry 4.0, the system management and performance management are first among specific kinds of managing activities that support policy action. System management is not leaving anything coincidently. It builds the whole system of areas of elements in advance. Performance management is carefully programming targets and results. As there is a lot to rethink, how and in which way to survive and to develop, people expect that policy brings impact and result. At the same time, it is expected that management is efficient and mature. That it develops in a mature way technical details when preparing decisions, measures and their evaluation. This paper analyses data obtained in a survey, how management maturity is seen and comparing maturity of public managemet and management in private sector.

    Introdução: a procura pela medicina popular tem sido recorrente, em que plantas medicinais são consumidas como agentes terapêuticos na prevenção de diversos sintomas e doenças. Na pandemia da COVID-19, grande parte da população sofreu mudanças na renda, no estilo de vida e restrições de acesso ao sistema de saúde convencional, fazendo com que a procura por métodos alternativos de cuidado seja uma realidade mais acessível. Objetivo: analisar as variáveis sobre as práticas do autocuidado da saúde com utilização de produtos naturais da medicina popular na prevenção de sintomas da COVID-19 e contribuir para a discussão sobre a adesão à terapia alternativa aplicada no contexto da pandemia. Material e Método: o estudo foi feito pela técnica de amostragem não probabilística Snowball Sampling, por meio de um levantamento realizado por questionário distribuído nacionalmente para toda população acima de 18 anos de idade, seguido análise estatística e revisão bibliográfica sobre compostos naturais utilizados com potencial atividade farmacológica na prevenção da COVID-19. Conclusão: foi demonstrado que as variáveis como escolaridade, idade e região geográfica influenciam significativamente à busca por produtos a base de plantas medicinais. Determinadas plantas citadas fornecem compostos com atividades farmacológicas evidenciadas na literatura como anti-inflamatória e antiviral, sendo alternativa adjuvante para aliviar o quadro da doença e reforçar imunidade, já sendo utilizadas culturalmente e implantadas no sistema de saúde de outros países para tratamento da infecção por SARS-CoV-2. No entanto, o cenário brasileiro evidencia as fragilidades no desenvolvimento de ações para integrar e melhorar o acesso da população aos serviços de saúde convencionais, assim como a necessidade de implantar protocolos alternativos padronizados, a fim de evitar possíveis intoxicações por uso incorreto desses produtos naturais.

    Introdução: Este artigo apresenta uma reflexão acerca da pandemia da Covid-19 e seus impactos na aprendizagem na perspectiva de professores alfabetizadores. Objetivo: O objetivo desta pesquisa é de abordar os reflexos da pandemia no processo de ensinoaprendizagem nos primeiros anos do ensino fundamental, levando em consideração as concepções docentes, frente as percepções das mudanças e nuances no vínculo afetivo e a dinâmica escolar, ocasionadas pelo período pandêmico. Material e métodos: Para tal, foi utilizada de pesquisa exploratória, com revisão bibliográfica e entrevista a docentes. Participaram da pesquisa quatro professoras, que atenderam aos critérios de inclusão propostos, sendo todas atuantes em redes públicas de ensino. Todas as participantes são do estado do Rio de Janeiro e possuíam no mínimo nove anos de exercício no magistério onde, no momento da pesquisa, atuavam em diferentes contextos do momento pandêmico (remoto síncrono, remoto assíncrono, híbrido e presencial). Resultados: Os resultados e a discussão serão apresentados em blocos a considerar o processo de análise do conteúdo, sendo: (a) a descrição dos participantes; (b) a experiência docente durante o contexto da pandemia; (c) percepções sobre vínculos e afetividade ao longo do processo de aprendizagem na pandemia. De acordo com a pesquisa, afetividade e emoções estão ligadas aos processos de ensino e aprendizagem, demonstrando possível correlação entre tais para o sucesso do processo de aprender. Conclusão: A pandemia de Covid-19, no entanto, impôs novas maneiras de relacionar-se de forma abrupta, realçando e acentuando disparidades educacionais. Conclui-se que, por mais que as salas de aula tenham sido substituídas pelas câmeras, microfones e recursos tecnológicos, as interações pessoais ainda são determinantes para a construção dos vínculos afetivos.

    Authors: De Boe, Esther; Vranjes, Jelena;

    In a short time, technology has profoundly changed the ways in which we communicate. Especially since the outbreak of the Covid-19 crisis, remote communication has seen a massive increase in all contexts. In dialogue interpreting settings, the use of remote interpreting (RI) by telephone and video link increases accessibility of public services to non-native speakers. Assessing its efficiency is therefore essential to ensure inclusion of all citizens. When communication is mediated by an interpreter by means of RI, this adds up to the already complex character of the communicative event. Since the interpreter takes a turn at talk after each primary participant’s turn, interactional issues, such as overlapping speech, are likely to have an even stronger disruptive effect on the communication than is the case in monolingual events. Evidence-based research on RI indicates that such disruptions are primarily related to the reduced possibility for synchronization of interaction (Wadensjö, 1999). Recent research focusing specifically on interaction management (Davitti, 2018; De Boe, 2020; Vranjes & Brône, 2020) suggests that in remote dialogue interpreting, smoothness of interaction is affected. This is mostly due to reduced visual access, which impinges on the use of nonverbal resources (such as gaze and gesture) to manage the conversational flow. These outcomes call for a more granular, micro-analytical investigation of the ways in which interaction management is accomplished in RI. Since smoothness is a decisive factor in participants’ satisfaction with communication, it is of vital importance to further investigate which factors contribute to realising fluent interaction management, as well as the role of visual access in these dynamics. Therefore, this panel invites evidence-based research contributions aimed at examining interaction management (turn transitions, negotiation of meaning, repair, backchannelling behaviour, a.o.) in RI by telephone and video link. We strongly encourage micro-analytical approaches, based on data derived from authentic as well as experimental settings (including simulations and eye-tracking experiments), in various contexts of spoken language remote dialogue interpreting. In sum, empirically grounded insights from these studies will make a contribution to the burgeoning research on the complex conversational dynamics of remote dialogue interpreting. Spatial sciences and geography have been integral to the modeling of and communicating information pertaining to the COVID-19 pandemic. Epidemiological models are being used within a geographic context to map the spread of the novel SARS-CoV-2 virus and to make decisions regarding state-wide interventions and allocating hospital resources. Data required for epidemiological models are often incomplete, biased, and available for a spatial unit more extensive than the one needed for decision-making. In this paper, we present results on a global sensitivity analysis of epidemiological model parameters on an important design variable, time to peak number of cases, within a geographic context. We design experiments for quantifying the impact of uncertainty of epidemiological model parameters on distribution of peak times for the state of California. We conduct our analysis at the county-level and perform a non-parametric, global sensitivity analysis to quantify interplay between the uncertainty of epidemiological parameters and design variables.

This paper analyses data obtained in a survey, how management maturity is seen and comparing maturity of public managemet and management in private sector.
