    Existe um reconhecimento crescente sobre o contributo da pequena agricultura nos sistemas alimentares locais: abastecimento dos consumidores de proximidade, autoconsumo por parte do agregado familiar, diversidade nas dietas e trocas com vizinhos e conhecidos. O projeto europeu SALSA (2016-2020) tem como base uma abordagem territorial analisando o papel da pequena agricultura nos sistemas alimentares locais, focando em particular a sua capacidade produtiva e o contributo para a segurança alimentar à escala sub-regional. Partindo da recolha de informação desenvolvida durante este projeto, nomeadamente as áreas de produção nas pequenas explorações familiares e as atividades nelas desenvolvidas, considerou-se pertinente perceber qual o rendimento efectivo a que corresponde a produção nestas pequenas explorações. Irá, assim, recorrer-se à metodologia dos valores de produção padrão (VPP) aplicado a algumas produções da região. Desta forma pretende-se estimar o contributo potencial da pequena agricultura no rendimento familiar e nos sistemas alimentares locais, bem como perceber a quantidade de trabalho familiar e não familiar eventual ou permanente envolvido nessa produção.     O desempenho sísmico de edifícios tradicionais de alvenaria é geralmente afetado pela eficiência das ligações piso-parede, uma vez que estas podem assegurar a continuidade estrutural e impedir a maioria dos colapsos locais. De facto, o comportamento para fora do plano das paredes de alvenaria observado em sismos recentes evidencia a importância crítica que as ligações entre os elementos verticais e horizontais assumem em edifícios históricos. A literatura científica neste domínio é muito escassa, justificando a necessidade de investir recursos na análise, experimental e numérica, do comportamento das ligações piso-parede. Este artigo apresenta uma série de ensaios experimentais sobre a caracterização do comportamento de ligações piso-parede em construções tradicionais de alvenaria. Foram construídos diversos provetes em laboratório à escala real, representativos dos edifícios pombalinos tardios e gaioleiros da baixa de Lisboa. O artigo discute os resultados experimentais das ligações reforçadas ensaiadas, com destaque para as cargas e deslocamentos máximos, bem como os modos de rotura associados. Com base nos resultados obtidos, é apresentada ainda uma idealização bilinear das envolventes dos ensaios, como primeira aproximação à utilização prática dos resultados.

    O trabalho apresentado nesta dissertação foi desenvolvido no departamento de Engenharia Civil da Universidade do Minho. Este trabalho, de caráter experimental, pretende ser uma contribuição para melhor compreender o comportamento das ligações, reforçadas e não reforçadas, nos edifícios históricos de alvenaria Pombalinos e Gaioleiros, sob ações cíclicas que influenciam a vulnerabilidade sísmica. Os ensaios realizados envolveram paredes de alvenaria representativas dos edifícios em estudo e ancoragens de mangas injetadas Cintec®, caracterizando-se uma ligação reforçada parede-frontal. Assim foram realizados ensaios de caracterização dos materiais presentes na construção destas paredes, como a argamassa, a pedra e prismas de alvenaria e ensaios de caracterização dos varões de aço existentes nas ancoragens de mangas injetadas. Os ensaios do conjunto paredes de alvenaria e mangas injetadas foram monotónicos e cíclicos, sob controlo de deslocamento, com vista a caracterizar o seu comportamento cíclico. Foram estudadas duas paredes, realizando-se quatro ensaios por cada. O principal objetivo deste trabalho passou pela obtenção de um conjunto de resultados, como modos de rotura e diferentes tipos de curvas de relação, suscetíveis de serem usadas como indicativo na calibração e recomendação do tipo de reforço em estudo. Da análise final do trabalho efetuado, conclui-se que existe um contributo bastante significativo do reforço e que será necessário aplicar modificações para que a rotura, em caso de sismo, aconteça no mesmo e não na parede de alvenaria. The work presented in this thesis was developed in the Civil Engineering Department of Universidade do Minho. This work, based on experimental work, is intended as a contribution to better understand the behavior of connections, reinforced and non-reinforced, in historic buildings “Pombalinos” and “Gaioleiros”, under cyclic loads that influence the seismic vulnerability. The tests involved masonry walls representative of buildings in study and injected anchors Cintec ®, characterizing a reinforced connection of wall to “frontal”. Thus, tests were performed to characterize the materials present in the construction of these walls, like mortar, stone and masonry prisms and characterization tests of steel bars existing in the injected anchors. The tests of the masonry walls and injected anchors were static and cyclic, under displacement control, in order to characterize its cyclical behavior. Two walls were studied, making up four tests each. The main objective of this study spent by getting a set of results, such as failure modes and different types of curves relationship, capable of being used as a calibration target and recommendation of the type of reinforcement in the study. From the final analysis of this work, it is concluded that there is a very significant contribution of the reinforcement and it will be necessary to apply modifications in order the rupture, in case of an earthquake, occur in the reinforcement and not on the masonry wall.     A reconhecida sustentabilidade da construção em taipa e o vasto património arquitectónico edificado segundo este processo construtivo são motivos, por si só suficientes, para justificar o crescente interesse pela construção taipa por parte das autoridades, investigadores, projectistas e empresas. Todavia, este tipo de construção apresenta tipicamente um deficiente desempenho sísmico, o que torna desaconselhada a adopção da taipa como solução estrutural em zonas de perigosidade sísmica não negligenciável. Neste contexto, o presente artigo descreve a construção em taipa bem como a sua importância cultural. Seguidamente, caracteriza-se o desempenho sísmico deste tipo de construções, com especial ênfase nos modos de rotura. Por fim, discutem-se possíveis modificações do processo construtivo para melhorar o desempenho sísmico das construções em taipa novas, bem como as técnicas de reforço sísmico e reparação para construções existentes.

    O desempenho sísmico de edifícios tradicionais de alvenaria é geralmente afetado pela eficiência das ligações piso-parede, uma vez que estas podem assegurar a continuidade estrutural e impedir a maioria dos colapsos locais. De facto, o comportamento para fora do plano das paredes de alvenaria observado em sismos recentes evidencia a importância crítica que as ligações entre os elementos verticais e horizontais assumem em edifícios históricos. A literatura científica neste domínio é muito escassa, justificando a necessidade de investir recursos na análise, experimental e numérica, do comportamento das ligações piso-parede. Este artigo apresenta uma série de ensaios experimentais sobre a caracterização do comportamento de ligações piso-parede em construções tradicionais de alvenaria. Foram construídos diversos provetes em laboratório à escala real, representativos dos edifícios pombalinos tardios e gaioleiros da baixa de Lisboa. O artigo discute os resultados experimentais das ligações reforçadas ensaiadas, com destaque para as cargas e deslocamentos máximos, bem como os modos de rotura associados. Com base nos resultados obtidos, é apresentada ainda uma idealização bilinear das envolventes dos ensaios, como primeira aproximação à utilização prática dos resultados.

    O trabalho apresentado nesta dissertação foi desenvolvido no departamento de Engenharia Civil da Universidade do Minho. Este trabalho, de caráter experimental, pretende ser uma contribuição para melhor compreender o comportamento das ligações, reforçadas e não reforçadas, nos edifícios históricos de alvenaria Pombalinos e Gaioleiros, sob ações cíclicas que influenciam a vulnerabilidade sísmica. Os ensaios realizados envolveram paredes de alvenaria representativas dos edifícios em estudo e ancoragens de mangas injetadas Cintec®, caracterizando-se uma ligação reforçada parede-frontal. Assim foram realizados ensaios de caracterização dos materiais presentes na construção destas paredes, como a argamassa, a pedra e prismas de alvenaria e ensaios de caracterização dos varões de aço existentes nas ancoragens de mangas injetadas. Os ensaios do conjunto paredes de alvenaria e mangas injetadas foram monotónicos e cíclicos, sob controlo de deslocamento, com vista a caracterizar o seu comportamento cíclico. Foram estudadas duas paredes, realizando-se quatro ensaios por cada. O principal objetivo deste trabalho passou pela obtenção de um conjunto de resultados, como modos de rotura e diferentes tipos de curvas de relação, suscetíveis de serem usadas como indicativo na calibração e recomendação do tipo de reforço em estudo. Da análise final do trabalho efetuado, conclui-se que existe um contributo bastante significativo do reforço e que será necessário aplicar modificações para que a rotura, em caso de sismo, aconteça no mesmo e não na parede de alvenaria. The work presented in this thesis was developed in the Civil Engineering Department of Universidade do Minho. This work, based on experimental work, is intended as a contribution to better understand the behavior of connections, reinforced and non-reinforced, in historic buildings “Pombalinos” and “Gaioleiros”, under cyclic loads that influence the seismic vulnerability. The tests involved masonry walls representative of buildings in study and injected anchors Cintec ®, characterizing a reinforced connection of wall to “frontal”. Thus, tests were performed to characterize the materials present in the construction of these walls, like mortar, stone and masonry prisms and characterization tests of steel bars existing in the injected anchors. The tests of the masonry walls and injected anchors were static and cyclic, under displacement control, in order to characterize its cyclical behavior. Two walls were studied, making up four tests each. The main objective of this study spent by getting a set of results, such as failure modes and different types of curves relationship, capable of being used as a calibration target and recommendation of the type of reinforcement in the study. From the final analysis of this work, it is concluded that there is a very significant contribution of the reinforcement and it will be necessary to apply modifications in order the rupture, in case of an earthquake, occur in the reinforcement and not on the masonry wall.     A reconhecida sustentabilidade da construção em taipa e o vasto património arquitectónico edificado segundo este processo construtivo são motivos, por si só suficientes, para justificar o crescente interesse pela construção taipa por parte das autoridades, investigadores, projectistas e empresas. Todavia, este tipo de construção apresenta tipicamente um deficiente desempenho sísmico, o que torna desaconselhada a adopção da taipa como solução estrutural em zonas de perigosidade sísmica não negligenciável. Neste contexto, o presente artigo descreve a construção em taipa bem como a sua importância cultural. Seguidamente, caracteriza-se o desempenho sísmico deste tipo de construções, com especial ênfase nos modos de rotura. Por fim, discutem-se possíveis modificações do processo construtivo para melhorar o desempenho sísmico das construções em taipa novas, bem como as técnicas de reforço sísmico e reparação para construções existentes.
