Resmî olarak Covid-19 olarak bilinen Koronavirüs, ilk olarak Aralık 2019'da Çin'in Wuhan şehrinde tespit edildi. Bu tarih, iş dünyası için bu yüzyılın önemli kilometre taşlarından biri olarak kabul edilebilir. Ekonominin tüm sektörleri küresel salgının yıkıcı etkisinden farklı düzeylerde etkilendi. İş dünyasının yaşadığı temel sorunların belli başlıları arasında tedarik zincirlerinde yaşanan problemler, dalgalı talep, girdi kıtlığı ve zorunlu kapanmalar gelmektedir. Öngörülemezlik, Covid-19 küresel salgınının anahtar kelimelerinden biridir. İş dünyası yoğun bir belirsizlik ortamında operasyonlarını ve üretimini başarıyla yönetmiştir. Eğitim, ulaşım, inovasyon, iş birlikleri ve çalışma ortamındaki değişiklikler sayesinde başarı sağlanmıştır. Bu durum, iş dünyası trendleri hakkında önemli bilgiler sunmaktadır. Dijitalleşme, sanallaştırma, sürdürülebilirlik, bilgi güvenliği ve ana veri yönetimi; 2022 yılında trend olma ihtimali yüksek başlıklar arasındadır. Yapay zekâ teknolojilerinin alt disiplinleri ile birlikte 2022 yılında da popülerliğini koruyacak teknolojilerin başında gelmesi beklenmektedir.

The coronavirus, officially known also COVID-19, was first detected in December 2019 in Wuhan, China. This date could be considered as one of the important milestones for the Business World for this century. All sectors of the economy were affected at varying rates by the devastating impact of the pandemic. Problems in supply chains, fluctuating demand, shortage of inputs, and forced closures are among the main problems experienced by the business world. The business world has successfully managed its operations and production under intense uncertainty. Success has been achieved through process changes in education, transportation, innovation, collaborations, and the working environment. This provides important information about business trends. Digitalization, virtualization, sustainability, information security, and master data management are among the topics that are likely to be trends in 2022. Together with its sub-disciplines, artificial intelligence technologies are expected to be one of the technologies that will remain popular in 2022. Google CEO Sundar Pichai predicted that the impact of artificial intelligence on humanity would be above fire and electricity. Artificial intelligence will have a significant impact in 2022. We will see a number of trends related to artificial intelligence in 2022. The first one is the enhanced workforce. Supporting the workforce with machines and robots is essential for a number of operations.

The project titled “A Study on the Effects of Psychological Capital and Subjective Well-Being of Aviation Industry Employees on Team Performance in the Covid 19 Period and the Afterwards,” was accepted by the 2209-A University Students Research Projects Support Program, Scientist Training Support Programme, supervised by Assoc. Prof. Sezer Cihan Günaydın Kesken, Head of Aviation Management at Istanbul Gelisim University. Ataberk Tekin, Begüm Aras, Fatma Damla Onay, the students of UBF Aviation Management Department, and Fatmagül Ceyda Dinç, student of FEAS Aviation Management Department, are among the students involved in the project. İstanbul Gelişim Üniversitesi Havacılık Yönetimi Bölüm Başkanı Doç. Dr. Sezer Cihan Günaydın Kesken’in danışmanı olduğu “Covid 19 Dönemi ve Sonrasında Havacılık Sektörü Çalışanlarının Psikolojik Sermayeleri ve Öznel İyi Oluşlarının Takım Performansına Etkisi Üzerine Bir Araştırma” adlı proje Tübitak tarafından 2209-A Üniversite Öğrencileri Araştırma Projeleri Destek Programı ve Bilim İnsanı Yetiştirme Destek Programı kapsamında kabul görmüştür. UBF Havacılık Yönetimi bölümü öğrencilerinden Ataberk Tekin, Begüm Aras, Fatma Damla Onay ve İİSBF Havacılık Yönetimi bölümü öğrencisi Fatmagül Ceyda Dinç projede yer alan öğrenciler arasındadır. The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on social sciences was evaluated. Evaluating the issue, Asst. Prof. Viktoriia Demydova says, “Changes in housework, child care, elderly care and quarantine have increased the mental health needs of female faculty members and reduced the time allocated for academic studies.” When the applications made to Istanbul Gelisim University Journal of Social Sciences between the years 2021-2022 on the effects of COVID-19 on the activities of researchers are examined, it can be observed that the Covid-19 pandemic period had a remarkable effect.

ÜNiVERSiTEMiZiN GiRiŞLERiNDE HES KODU DENETiMi İlgili Kamu Kurumlarımızın aldığı kararlar doğrultusunda kampüs girişlerinde yapılacak HES kodu denetimleri hız ve pratiklik sağlamak amacıyla personel ve öğrenci kimlik kartları kullanılarak gerçekleştirilecektir. Aşı olmak veya covid-19 geçirmiş olmak veya 48 saati geçmeyen Covid 19 PCR negatif sonucu olmak kampüs girişi için sağlanması gereken şartlar arasındadır. Bu amaçla PERSİS sisteminde “KİŞİSEL” menüsünün altında bulunan “BİLGİLERİM” sekmesine HES kodu eklenecektir.

Covid-19 Pandemic and Vaccine The online event titled “Covid-19 Pandemic and Vaccine” and organized together with Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS) and Istanbul Provincial Health Directorate was held on 15.06.2021 between 14.00 and 15.15. The event started with the presentation of IGU FHS Deputy Dean Dr. A. Yüksel Barut and was moderated under his direction and it was participated by the Head of IGU SBF Child Development Department, Public Health Specialist Dr. Nurten Elkin and Istanbul Provincial Health Directorate Public Health Services Vaccine Programs Unit Specialist Dr. Önder Yel participated as the speakers. Meeting Director Dr. A. Yüksel BARUT opened the meeting by emphasizing the provision, which is in Article 72 of the Public Health Law, “If one of the diseases mentioned in Article 57 occurs or is suspected, the following measures are applied: (2) Administering serum or vaccine to patients or those exposed to the disease.” He explained the importance that individuals should use the opportunity to be vaccinated to get over the global epidemic. After reading the resumes of the speakers, he gave floor to Dr. Nurten ELKİN and Dr. Önder YEL. Dr. Nurten ELKİN stated that preventive health services are important in the protection and development of public health and that other individuals with whom they are in contact or live with should also be healthy, especially in the control of infectious diseases by defining the concepts of health, disease and public health. In the next section, she explained the concepts of contagious disease, epidemic and pandemic, and talked about the harm of communicable diseases to society and the importance of vaccines. Dr. Önder YEL started his presentation by explaining how the Covid-19 pandemic started. He emphasized the importance of vaccines in the control of this pandemic. Explaining the types of vaccines, he stated that vaccines are safe biological products, therefore vaccines coming from abroad are analyzed, their safety evaluated and approved by the Turkish Medicines and Medical Devices Agency of the Ministry of Health. Dr. Önder Yel talked about the cold chain and vaccine tracking system, which are important for all vaccines. Dr. BARUT ended the meeting by thanking to IGU Faculty of Health Sciences and Istanbul Provincial Health Directorate for the contributions to the meeting, speakers, participants, contributors, for the event that shared the truth and took place in the academic environment.
