    Authors: Strejcová, Veronika;

    Práce je zaměřena na analýzu nakupování oděvů v internetových obchodech. První část je založena na teoretickém základu, kde je mimo jiné popsáno elektronické obchodování a podnikání, včetně členění e-commerce, výhod, současných trendů a stavu v České republice. Nechybí popis internetových obchodů, internetového marketingu a dále je tato část směřována k nákupnímu chování na internetu. Teorie je také rozšířena o kapitolu týkající se online nakupování v době pandemie COVID-19. Praktická část pak obsahuje vlastní výzkum, který byl proveden prostřednictvím dotazníku a je zaměřen na zhodnocení spokojenosti respondentů s konkrétními e-shopy, způsoby nakupování dotazovaných, marketing internetových obchodů a další. Na základě výsledků jsou navrhnuta doporučení, jimiž by se obchody mohly řídit. Obhájeno The work is focused on the analysis of buying clothes in online stores. The first part is based on a theoretical basis, which describes, among other things, electronic commerce and electronic business, including the structure of e-commerce, benefits, current trends and the situation in the Czech Republic. There is a description of online stores, internet marketing and this section is also focused on shopping behaviour on the Internet. The theory is extended by a chapter which is online shopping during the COVID-19 pandemic. The practical part then contains its own research, which was conducted through a questionnaire and is focused on evaluating the satisfaction of respondents with specific e-shops, ways of respondents shopping, marketing of online stores and more. Based on the results, recommendations are proposed

    Authors: Polívka, Vojtěch;

    Pandemie COVID-19 bez pochyby narušila životy všech a způsobila globální krizi, která do této doby neměla obdoby. V důsledku pandemie se objevily dva nebezpečné fenomény, které řešení krize neusnadnily. Prvním fenoménem je fenomén odpůrců očkování také známých jako anti-vax. Druhým fenoménem jsou dezinformace a taktéž fake news. Dezinformace v období této krize přinesly názorové proudy, které u občanů vyvolávaly nechuť dodržovat opatření a odmítat nebezpečí šíření tohoto viru. Zároveň v případě řešení tohoto onemocnění pomocí vakcinace byla podrývána důvěra v její bezpečnost či účinnost. Pomocí rámcové analýzy dezinformačních webů bylo identifikováno devět rámců, které napomáhají k odmítání či odkládání vakcinace. Tyto rámce byly hledány ve veřejné diskusi pod články z mainstream zpravodajských webů s cílem zjištění, jak se tyto rámce do veřejné diskuse přenáší. Obhájeno The Pandemic of COVID-19 with no doubts changed the life of everyone and caused global crisis that had no analogues till this day. As a result of the pandemic, two dangerous phenomena have emerged that have not made it easier to resolve the crisis. The first phenomenon is the phenomenon of vaccine opponents also known as anti-vax. The second phenomenon is desinformation also known as fake news. Desinformation in the period time of this crisis brought opinions that made citizens disrespect measures against the spread of virus. At the same time was undermined the confidence, efficacy and safety of vaccine against this virus.

    Authors: Lipinská, Barbora;

    Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá těhotenstvím, porodem a šestinedělím během pandemie COVID-19. Hlavním cílem bylo zjistit, jak ženy hodnotí porodnickou péči v období pandemie COVID-19. Teoretická část shrnuje informace o samotném onemocnění, způsobu přenosu, symptomech, diagnostice, léčbě a též prevenci. Také obsahuje informace o vlivu tohoto onemocnění na těhotnou ženu a plod, stejně tak údaje o managementu porodnické péče. Praktická část zahrnuje výzkumné šetření provedené na základě dotazníku, kde jsme se zaměřili na vliv pandemie COVID-19 na prenatální, perinatální a postnatální péči. Z výsledků vyplývá, že většina respondentek byla s poskytovanou péčí převážně spokojena, ale většině z nich chybělo dostatečné množství informací. Proto doporučujeme zaměřit se na informovanost těhotných žen v souvislosti s tímto onemocněním. Obhájeno This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period during the COVID-19 pandemic.     With the increasing number of platforms, grids and infrastructures in the wider area of Language Technologies (LT), NLP, NLU, speech, interaction and language-centric AI, there is also a growing need for sharing experiences, approaches and best practices to learn and benefit from the work of others and also, practically, to start a collaboration towards platform interoperability. The 1st InternationalWorkshop for Language Technology Platforms (IWLTP 2020) addresses all smaller and larger language grids, language-related infrastructures, platform initiatives as well as collaborative research projects that touch upon LT platforms, especially platform interoperability and related topics, both in Europe and world-wide. Its objective is to exchange and discuss observations, experiences, solutions, best practices as well as current and future challenges. The workshop also addresses the issue of fragmentation in the Language Technology landscape. Instead of “platform islands” that simply exist side by side, possibly even competing with each other, initiatives should discuss how their platforms can be made interoperable and how they can interact with one another to create synergies towards a productive LT platform ecosystem. The EU project European Language Grid (ELG; 2019-2021) is creating a platform that will provide thousands of data sets and hundreds of LT services. ELG aims to promote technologies tailored to all European languages and cultures, adapted to their social and economic needs. At the same time, there are several established platforms or infrastructure-related initiatives as well as emerging new ones, both on the European but also on the national level as well as on other continents. Some of the initiatives are more language-related and have a strong industry focus, others are mainly research-oriented. Moreover, there are digital public service initiatives, and platforms, in which language is only one aspect of many. With all these established and emerging initiatives, there is a risk of even stronger fragmentation in the Language Technology field, which is already highly fragmented, at least in Europe. Our approach is to bring these initiatives together to discuss ways not only of preventing further fragmentation but, crucially, of reversing it. This will only be possible if interoperability and mutual data exchange is ensured and if metadata formats and technical requirements are compatible, among others. A total of 30 papers were submitted to IWLTP 2020, 17 of which were accepted (acceptance rate: 56.7%). The organisers would like to thank all contributors for their valuable submissions and all members of the Programme Committee for reviewing the submitted papers. Due to the ongoing SARSCoV-2 pandemic, the workshop cannot be held as originally foreseen. Together with the organisers of LREC 2020 we will explore if we can organise the workshop at a later point in time or if we can organise it as a virtual event. G. Rehm, K. Bontcheva, K. Choukri, J.     Authors: Repková, Linda;

    V práci jsme zhodnotili pomocí veřejně dostupných zdrojů počty nakažených a úmrtnost na epidemii COVID19 v Plzeňském kraji. V Plzeňském kraji se počet úmrtí lišil dle okresů od 0,9 % (Plzeň-město a Plzeň-sever) až po 1,5 % v okrese Tachov. 98,1 % úmrtí spojených s COVID19 bylo u osob starších 50 let, z čehož 87,8 % úmrtí ve skupině 65+ let. Rovněž v hodnoceném období 1.3. 2020 - 31.5. 2021 jsme analyzovali výsledky 3 208 PCR a 2 504 antigenních testů provedených u přeshraničních pracovníků. Tito pracovníci se nepodíleli na šíření onemocnění oproti běžné populaci, neboť počet pozitivních testů ve sledovaném období nepřesahoval průměrné 7 denní pozitivity preventivních testů v ČR. Dále v práci bylo provedeno zhodnocení senzitivity a specificity Panbio Abbott antigenních testů používaných v Klatovské nemocnici. V 752 párových PCR a antigenních testů byla zjištěna senzitivita 75,8 % a specificita 97,4 %. U vysoce pozitivních vzorků s virovou náloží dle PCR 0-25 Ct byla zjištěna 93 % pozitivita Panbio Abbott antigenního testu, zatímco v hodnotách nad 30 Ct byla správná pozitivita jen 19,7 %. Obhájeno In this paper, we evaluated the number of infections and mortality rates of the COVID-19 epidemic in the Pilsen region using publicly available sources. In the Pilsen region, the number of deaths varied by district, from 0.9% (Pilsen-City and Pilsen-North) to 1.5% in the Tachov district. 98.1% of COVID-19-related deaths were in persons over 50 years of age, of which 87.8% were in the 65+ age group. Also in the assessment period 1.3.2020 -31.5.2021, we analyzed the results of 3,208 PCR and 2,504 antigen tests performed on cross-border workers. These workers did not contribute to the spread of the disease compared to the general population, as the number of positive tests in the study period did not exceed the average 7-day positivity rate of preventive tests in the Czech Republic. Furthermore, the sensitivity and specificity of Panbio Abbot antigen tests used in Klatovy Hospital were evaluated. In 752 paired PCR and antigen tests, the sensitivity was found to be 75.8% and specificity 97.4%. In highly positive samples with viral load according to PCR 0-25 Ct, 93% positivity of Panbio Abbott antigen test was found, while in values above 30 Ct, the correct positivity was only 19.7%.

    Authors: Lipinská, Barbora;

    Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá těhotenstvím, porodem a šestinedělím během pandemie COVID-19. Hlavním cílem bylo zjistit, jak ženy hodnotí porodnickou péči v období pandemie COVID-19. Teoretická část shrnuje informace o samotném onemocnění, způsobu přenosu, symptomech, diagnostice, léčbě a též prevenci. Také obsahuje informace o vlivu tohoto onemocnění na těhotnou ženu a plod, stejně tak údaje o managementu porodnické péče. Praktická část zahrnuje výzkumné šetření provedené na základě dotazníku, kde jsme se zaměřili na vliv pandemie COVID-19 na prenatální, perinatální a postnatální péči. Z výsledků vyplývá, že většina respondentek byla s poskytovanou péčí převážně spokojena, ale většině z nich chybělo dostatečné množství informací. Proto doporučujeme zaměřit se na informovanost těhotných žen v souvislosti s tímto onemocněním. Obhájeno This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period during the COVID-19 pandemic. The main aim was to find out how women rate the obstetric care in the time of COVID-19 pandemic. The theoretical part summarizes information about the illness itself, mode of transmission, symptoms, diagnostics, therapy and prevention. It also includes information about the effect of this disease on a pregnant woman and a fetus as well as data about the obstetric healthcare management. The practical part includes questionnaire survey focused on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on prenatal, perinatal and postnatal care. The results of the research show that most of the respondents were satisfied by the provided care however most of them lacked sufficient information. Because of that, we have recommend focusing on the awareness of pregnant women related to this disease.

    Bakalářská práce s názvem Start-upy a jejich inovační potenciál čelit výzvám souvisejících s COVID-19 má za cíl ukázat, jak technologická řešení start-upů jsou schopna čelit výzvám a problémům, které s sebou přinesla koronavirová krize, ve vybraných oblastech. Teoretická část je vstupem do tématu či problematiky start-upů a na základě rešerše odborné literatury je definován samotný pojem i pojmy s oblastí související jako například inovace, dále pak inovační potenciál či inovační proces. Praktická část poté identifikuje některé oblasti, které byly zasaženy či postiženy pandemií koronaviru. V těchto oblastech jsou následně identifikovány start-upy, které pomocí svých technologických řešení zmírňují či účinně řeší problémy s pandemií spojených, a jejich řešení analyzována. Obhájeno Bachelor thesis entitled Start-ups and their innovative potential to face COVID-19-related challenges identifies aims to demonstrate, how startups' technological solutions can face the challenges and problems that have emerged during covid crisis in certain areas. Theoretical part is the starting point of the concept of start-up, it defines the concept itself and concepts related such as innovation, innovation potential or innovation process. Later on, the practical part identifies some of the areas that were affected by coronavirus. In these areas, the start-ups are identified and their technological solutions, that are used to tackle the covid-related problems, are analyzed.

    With the increasing number of platforms, grids and infrastructures in the wider area of Language Technologies (LT), NLP, NLU, speech, interaction and language-centric AI, there is also a growing need for sharing experiences, approaches and best practices to learn and benefit from the work of others and also, practically, to start a collaboration towards platform interoperability. The 1st InternationalWorkshop for Language Technology Platforms (IWLTP 2020) addresses all smaller and larger language grids, language-related infrastructures, platform initiatives as well as collaborative research projects that touch upon LT platforms, especially platform interoperability and related topics, both in Europe and world-wide. Its objective is to exchange and discuss observations, experiences, solutions, best practices as well as current and future challenges. The workshop also addresses the issue of fragmentation in the Language Technology landscape. Instead of “platform islands” that simply exist side by side, possibly even competing with each other, initiatives should discuss how their platforms can be made interoperable and how they can interact with one another to create synergies towards a productive LT platform ecosystem. The EU project European Language Grid (ELG; 2019-2021) is creating a platform that will provide thousands of data sets and hundreds of LT services. ELG aims to promote technologies tailored to all European languages and cultures, adapted to their social and economic needs. At the same time, there are several established platforms or infrastructure-related initiatives as well as emerging new ones, both on the European but also on the national level as well as on other continents. Some of the initiatives are more language-related and have a strong industry focus, others are mainly research-oriented. Moreover, there are digital public service initiatives, and platforms, in which language is only one aspect of many. With all these established and emerging initiatives, there is a risk of even stronger fragmentation in the Language Technology field, which is already highly fragmented, at least in Europe. Our approach is to bring these initiatives together to discuss ways not only of preventing further fragmentation but, crucially, of reversing it. This will only be possible if interoperability and mutual data exchange is ensured and if metadata formats and technical requirements are compatible, among others. A total of 30 papers were submitted to IWLTP 2020, 17 of which were accepted (acceptance rate: 56.7%). The organisers would like to thank all contributors for their valuable submissions and all members of the Programme Committee for reviewing the submitted papers. Due to the ongoing SARSCoV-2 pandemic, the workshop cannot be held as originally foreseen. Together with the organisers of LREC 2020 we will explore if we can organise the workshop at a later point in time or if we can organise it as a virtual event. G. Rehm, K. Bontcheva, K. Choukri, J.     Authors: Repková, Linda;
