This year's half-day workshop follows on previous events in Human-Robot Interaction conferences focusing on efforts to discuss potential benchmarks in design, methodology and evaluation of new robotics systems that help learners. In this 6th edition of the workshop, we will be investigating in particular methods from technologies for education and online learning. Since the past few months, online and remote learning has been put in place in several countries to cope with the health and safety measures due to the Covid-19 pandemic. In this workshop, we aim to discuss strategies to design robotics system able to provide embodied assistance to the remote learners and to demonstrate long-term learning effects.

For further information contact us at helpdesk@openaire.eudescription Publicationkeyboard_double_arrow_right Conference object 2021 FrenchHAL CCSD Ovtracht, Nicolas; Camille, Sieper; Mericskay, Boris; Demoraes, Florent; Duché, Sarah; Tabaka, Kamila;International audience; This presentation is the result of work carried out in the ANR Vélotactique research program (a one and a half year program funded by the French National Research Agency). In order to understand the impacts of the Covid-19 health crisis on cycling facilities in several of the project's metropolises and to highlight the plurality of strategies implemented by local authorities to adapt their networks, it appeared essential to know the characteristics of cycling networks prior to the crisis and to identify the temporary cycling facilities (so-called “corona lanes” or "pop-up cycle paths") deployed as of March 2020 in certain cities. This led us to collect and structure different data sources. While some are produced with well-defined specifications (IGN data), other sources are either specific to a metropolis or are crowdsourced (OSM) and are therefore quite heterogeneous. In order to be able to analyze the various metropolises with the same lens, a major effort to harmonize and mash the various sources has been undertaken. A simplified nomenclature valid for all the cities studied was thus developed, making it possible to compare the bicycle networks between them.
