Thermal denaturation assays and size exclusion chromatography with multi-angle light scattering analyses show that Î RBD deletion does not influence the overall shape and multimerization of purified His-TRIM25Î RBD. Figure S2. Generation and characterization of TRIM25 KO HeLa cell line. Figure S3. T7-TRIM25 CLIP-seq and T7-TRIM25 RNA immunoprecipitation results. Figure S4. T7-TRIM25 CLIP-seq experiments are reproducible, based on three independent experiments. Figure S5. No correlation of TRIM25 CLIP-seq cluster intensities with transcript abundance in HeLa cells. Figure S6. Gene Ontology-term annotation of TRIM25-bound transcripts and the ab initio-derived TRIM25-binding binding sequences cluster in three motif clusters. Figure S7. TRIM25 does not influence RNA stability of selected targets. Figure S8. TRIM25 undergoes ubiquitination. (PDF 9873 kb)

The large-scale move to remote work has been framed as a silver lining of COVID-19, despite mixed pre-pandemic evidence on working remotely. To understand intersectional disparities of pandemic precipitated remote work, we conducted a nationally representative panel survey (October 2020 and April 2021) of workers who worked remotely during the pandemic. Changes (both increases and decreases) in work hours with the move to telecommuting predict worse well-being. Women are at risk of poor well-being concomitant with increased hours, especially younger women without care responsibilities, women with care obligations, minority women, and non managers. By contrast, men whose hours decrease are at risk, especially minority men, middle-adult men without care responsibilities, and men with care obligations. Sequence analysis identifies four pathways of workplaces continuous remote working, early return, recent return, and hybrid. Women and men at both ends of the life course (younger and older adults) without care responsibilities, and women with care obligations benefit emotionally from hybrid or continuing remote working arrangements as opposed to returning to working-at-work, whereas the reverse is found for men with care obligations. Minority men and less-educated men benefit from a hybrid arrangement, and men managers gain in well-being when they return to working-at-work fully or partly. LCC Working Paper Series

COVID-19 Nervous system damage is one of the most common manifestations of COVID-19. The article describes complaints of patients with COVID-19 and likely mechanisms for the development of neurological symptoms. The author presents her own successful experience of using neuroprotective therapy such as Actovegin in patients with encephalopathy associated with COVID-19

Publisher: 法政大学キャリアデザイン学会The term digital literacy is rarely used in Japan. Instead, the terms computer literacy and ICT literacy are often used. In Europe and North America, the term digital literacy is commonly used as a skill for using information devices and the Internet. In the United States, digital literacy support in libraries is part of the national digital inclusion policy. Critical digital literacy has been strongly advocated in the wake of the "fake news" phenomenon. This theoretical trend has been influenced by critical literacy theory and media literacy theory. Digital and media literacy theory is a theory that integrates digital literacy and media literacy. This idea was advanced in theoretical research and practice by Renee Hobbs. In Japan, there is a lack of understanding of guaranteeing digital literacy as a right of citizens. In addition, digital and media literacy education and practice is very important in the era of COVID-19 and needs to be adapted to Japan.
