    International audience; This book is an analysis of the national reality in Spain, regarding the management and conservation of marine protected areas in the Mediterranean Sea, between the relation to international law and the guarantee of human rights. The work emphasizes the importance of protection and improving the state of the natural and cultural heritage of the Mediterranean Sea, in particular by establishing specially protected areas and also by protecting endangered species; to the respect of human rights, (through the right of every person to live in a healthy and pollution-free environment, which constitutes in itself a human right, exercisable and enforceable in all its areas), in a legal, social or political level, and at a national, communitarian or international level. Danilo Vicente García Cáceres is a Doctor of Juridical Sciences (DJS) from the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, and post-Ph.D. researcher in the ERC European Program n ° 340770 - Human Sea, at the University of Nantes in France. Currently, he is a professor of Public International Law at the Central University of Ecuador; Lawyer and official of the Ethics Committee of the same University in Ecuador, and Juridical advisor of the Environmental Law and Management Corporation - ECOLEX.; Este libro constituye un análisis de la realidad nacional española respecto de la gestión y conservación de las áreas marinas protegidas en el mar Mediterráneo, en relación con el Derecho internacional y la garantía de los derechos humanos. El trabajo hace hincapié en la importancia de proteger y mejorar el estado del patrimonio natural y cultural del mar Mediterráneo, en particular mediante el establecimiento de zonas especialmente protegidas y también mediante la protección de las especies amenazadas; como una base que permita articular el respeto y exigibilidad de los derechos humanos, a través del derecho de toda persona a vivir en un ambiente sano y libre de contaminación, lo cual constituye en sí mismo un derecho humano, ejercible y exigible en todos sus ámbitos, sea jurídico, social o político, a nivel nacional, comunitario o internacional.     Authors: Paniagua, David;

    Este trabajo tiene como propósito ofrecer una lectura exhaustiva de una de las glosas enciclopédicas del Liber Glossarum, concretamente de la glosa pisces (PI 233). La aproximación al texto que aquí proponemos resulta de gran utilidad a la hora de describir la técnica compositiva de la glosa enciclopédica como el resultado de un proceso paciente y bien estructurado de combinación y ensambladura de diferentes fuentes. Mediante una consideración específica del texto de dichas fuentes y de las decisiones (selección, descarte, redisposición, reformulación, etc.) adoptadas por el responsable de la glosa, tanto el patrón aplicado a la glosa como las intenciones informativas del redactor quedan en primer plano, lo que sin duda contribuye a un mejor conocimiento de los procesos de articulación y escritura de las glosas enciclopédicas del Liber glossarum. Cette contribution a pour objet une lecture précise d'une des longues gloses encyclopédiques du Liber glossarum, à savoir la glose pisces (PI 233). La présente approche de ce passage s'avère utile pour décrire les techniques de composition de cette glose encyclopédique comme l'aboutissement d'un procédé patient et méthodique d'assemblage des sources. La prise en compte du texte de ses sources et des choix (sélection, rejet, réarrangement, paraphrase, etc.) opérés par le responsable de la glose en fait apparaître le schéma et les visées, ce qui permet à coup sûr une meilleure compréhension de la manière dont les gloses encyclopédiques du Liber glossarum ont été écrites et élaborées. This paper aims to provide a thorough reading of one of the long encyclopedic glosses of the Liber glossarum, namely the gloss pisces (PI 233). The present approach to this text proves useful to describe the compositive technique of the encyclopedic gloss as the result of a patient well-organized process of assembling different sources together. By considering the text of his sources and the choices (selection, rejection, rearrangement, paraphrase, etc.) made by the responsible of the gloss, its pattern and informative intentions become apparent, which certainly allows a better understanding of how the encyclopedic glosses of the Liber glossarum were written and developed.

    [ES] La zona central de la Cuenca de Alborán se caracteriza por presentar los elementos fisiográficos más importantes de Alborán, como son las dorsales de Alborán y Adra que limitan la depresión del Canal de Alborán. Estos elementos morfoestructurales son el resultado de la convergencia de las placas Africana y Euroasiática. El análisis de datos batimétricos y de perfiles de sísmica con diferentes grados de resolución, ha permitido establecer dos fases de deformación recientes: una de carácter transcurrente de salto normal y otra posterior compresiva que produce una inversión tectónica. In the last years, radioimmunoassay (R.I.A.) has been used in order to measure plasma steroid levels. The present work validates R.I.A. for determination of testosterone, 11-ketotestosterone and 17 beta -estradiol in the plasma of sea bass. Prior assay and to increase the assay specificity, the plasma steroids were extracted and purified on Sephadex LH-20 columns. The recoveries (testosterone: 85.2%, 11-ketotestosterone: 88.7%, and 17 beta -estradiol: 71.6%) after chromatography were satisfactories. Precipitation with PEG was used to separate the steroid-antibody complex from free steroid, showing very low levels of non-specific counts. The assay showed a good sensibility, specificity and precision; its accuracy demonstrated that R.I.A. is a valid technic for the measurement of plasma testosterone, 11-ketotestosterone and 17 beta -estradiol in the sea bass

Two recent phases of deformation have been differentiated, one predominantly transcurrent with normal component and a subsequent compression that produced a tectonic inversion. The later phase results from the collision of the Alboran Ridge block against the Adra’s one Inciativa Ibérica para el Estudio de las Fallas Activas, Segunda Reunión Ibérica sobre Fallas Activas y PaleosismologíaI IBERFAULT 2014, 22-24 de octubre de 2014, Lorca, España.-- 4 pages, 3 figures, 1 table El presenta trabajo se enmarca dentro de los proyectos de investigación: MOWER (CTM2012-39599-C03-02), MONTERA (CTM2009-14157-C02-02) y Actions Margins Program Peer Reviewed

    Authors: Prat, F.; Carrillo, M.; de Mones, A.;
