    Abstract— In this paper, we first introduce and define “Digital Divide 2.0”, and show that, unlike the “traditional” Digital Divide, this is about the survival of countries and their ability to cope with a global environment that is more and more instable and uncertain! We build an argumenta supporting our assumption and, from there, we present the foundations of a computational framework to guide and streamline the Digital Transformation Process.

    The current study investigates how attitudes towards digital transformation and personal innovativeness affect the acceptance of emergency remote learning in the COVID-19 pandemic environment. The pandemic has affected all aspects of societies across the globe, including higher education that was also a significant push-up factor for the digital transformation of higher education. Thus, the main aim of this paper is to investigate the factors affecting emergency remote learning acceptance among the higher education students in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH). The results presented in this paper gained from a study carried out among higher education students in BiH cover the period of April – July 2020 via the open-source platform. The study focused on the students’ attitude towards a digital transformation is a significant factor in accepting emergency remote learning. Also, the personal innovativeness score has proven to be a crucial factor for adopting this new learning setting, i.e., more innovative students have a greater emergency remote learning acceptance than students with a lower personal innovativeness score. Hence, this study pinpoints the necessity of changing the attitudes towards technology applications in education. It would increase the usage of remote learning services and provide students with knowledge and skills for the new labour market

    This article addresses the problem that is being generated by the use of mouth covers, gloves and masks used as protection against covid 19. After more than a year in a pandemic, the demand and waste of these protective implements has increased exponentially, which is why it is necessary to dispose of these sanitary wastes safely, to guarantee community health and the integrity of the environment. On the contrary, improper handling of such a volume of these wastes can have a rebound effect, both on people's health and on the environment. The objective of the research is to properly dispose of these wastes, through the use of special containers for this type of waste, as well as the proposal with the government and companies that use ovens for the production of their products, so that with the necessary measures They could dispose of this type of waste as raw material for their furnaces, since these companies have standards that they comply with to regulate the Co2 emissions that they emit into the environment, and thus minimize the impact that these wastes bring to the environment.

    La inteligencia artificial (IA) y la robótica son dos realidades que han venido para quedarse y cuya implicación en nuestra sociedad afecta a distintos ámbitos. El hecho de que nos encontremos ante una tecnología capaz de emular actitudes humanas como son el aprendizaje o la adaptación, convierten a la IA, y en concreto a los robots dotados de la misma, en máquinas imprevisibles. Asimismo, nos encontramos con la agravante de la posible interacción entre máquinas y sujetos de carácter vulnerable como son los consumidores o los pacientes, lo que entraña un riesgo aún mayor. Precisamente por ello es necesario un análisis desde el punto de vista jurídico, así como también ético, de las consecuencias del manejo de los robots inteligentes en nuestra sociedad. Artificial Intelligence (AI) and robotics are two realities that are here to stay and whose involvement in our society covers a multitude of very diverse areas. The fact that we are dealing with a technology capable of emulating human attitudes, such as learning or adaptation, makes AI, and specifically robots equipped with it, unpredictable machines. Furthermore, the potential interaction between machines and vulnerable subjects, such as consumers or patients, is a compounding factor, which implies even greater risk. This is precisely why it is necessary to analyse the legal and ethical consequences of the use of intelligent robots in our society.

    The Covid-19 pandemic has had a huge impact on various sectors, especially the economic sector, including the existence of MSMEs that have played an important role in Indonesia's economic development. This study aims to analyze how digitalization has become a strategy for developing MSMEs in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic and to understand the urgency of using e-marketing to encourage the sustainability of MSMEs by taking the example of digital platform-based MSMEs. This research uses qualitative methods, descriptive analysis methods, and contextual techniques. The data collected is supporting data from literature research and relevant online reporting documents. This research concludes that the implementation of digitalization and e-marketing through the marketplace carried out by MSME entrepreneurs is considered very necessary so that business activities can continue and generate economic value in the midst of a pandemic as it is today.

    The processes of globalization, competition development, the use of new management systems require constant adaptation of the enterprise’s logistics system to the conditions of internal and external environment. Logistics strategy determines the relationship between the organization’s development strategy and operational strategies in terms of enterprise’s logistics policy and logistics tasks, which are defined by current plans of activity. The place of logistics strategy is determined between long-term decisions of the enterprise (enterprise mission, logistics mission, corporate strategy, production strategy, marketing strategy, logistics concept) and tactical and operational decisions (logistics technologies, systems, subsystems, modules, business processes, operations and functions, information support). The biggest problem that business faced during the spread of COVID-19 was the disruption of supply chains. Most of the companies have realized how vulnerable their supply chains are, and have decided to diversify, have found new suppliers. In addition, new technologies have come in handy for companies during this period. The article considers the changes in logistics processes that were caused by the pandemic, analyzes the innovative technologies that are expedient to be used in the sphere of logistics under current conditions of processes digitalization. In particular, attention is paid to the peculiarities of use of Big Data Analytics, Machine Learning, and Internet of Things technologies. The main advantages and their efficiency in logistics are substantiated. It is proved that along with the introduction of innovative technologies it is important to form new business models, to integrate artificial intelligence solutions in activities, to use digital duplicates, etc. The use of the automated logistics management system will not only optimize the functioning of the enterprise, put in order communication, control and reduce costs, but also will ensure the long-term competitiveness of the company. Процеси глобалізації, розвитку конкуренції, використання нових систем управління вимагають постійної адаптації логістичної системи підприємства до умов внутрішнього та зовнішнього середовищ. Логістична стратегія визначає зв’язок між стратегією розвитку організації та операційними стратегіями в частині логістичної політики підприємства та логістичних завдань, які визначені поточними планами діяльності. Місце логістичної стратегії визначається між довгостроковими рішеннями підприємства (місія підприємства, логістична місія, корпоративна стратегія, виробнича стратегія, маркетингова стратегія, логістична концепція) та рішеннями тактичними й оперативними (логістичні технології, системи, підсистеми, модулі, бізнес-процеси, операції та функції, інформаційне забезпечення). Найбільшою проблемою, з якою бізнес зіткнувся під час поширення COVID-19, був зрив ланцюгів поставок. Більшість компаній усвідомили, наскільки вразливі їхні ланцюги поставок, прийняли рішення про диверсифікацію, знайшли нових постачальників. Окрім того, нові технології стали в нагоді для компаній у цей період. У статті розглядаються зміни в логістичних процесах, які були викликані пандемією, проаналізовані інноваційні технології, які доцільно використовувати у сфері логістики в сучасних умовах цифровізації процесів. Зокрема, приділяється увага особливостям використання технологій Big Data Analytics, Machine Learning і Internet of Things. Визначено основні переваги та обґрунтовано їх ефективність у логістиці. Доведено, що важливим поряд із впровадженням інноваційних технологій є формування нових бізнес-моделей, інтегрування в діяльність рішень по штучному інтелекту, застосування цифрових двійників тощо. Використання автоматизованої системи управління логістикою дозволить не лише оптимізувати роботу, упорядкувати комунікацію, контролювати та скорочувати витрати, а й забезпечить довгострокову конкурентоспроможність компанії.

    As a result of the study the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on accelerating the development of digital banking channels was analyzed. The system components of digital transformation of the modern banking sector are highlighted. The stages of digital transformation in the banking sector are characterized including: the emergence of digital channels, the emergence of digital products, the creation of a full cycle of digital services, the creation of "digital brain", the creation of digital DNA. The development of non-standard innovative models of banking business (smart multi-channel bank, socially involved bank, bank in the form of financial or non-financial digital ecosystem) is analyzed. The directions of application of modern digital financial technologies in the banking sector are determined. An analysis of the impact of digitalization on the process of employment transformation in the banking sector was performed. У результаті проведеного дослідження проаналізовано вплив пандемії COVID-19 на прискорення розвитку цифрових каналів банківського обслуговування. Виділено системні складові цифрової трансформації сучасного банківського сектору. Охарактеризовано етапи цифрової трансформації у банківському секторі, що передбачають: появу Digital-каналів, появу Digital-продуктів, створення повного циклу цифрового обслуговування, створення «цифрового мозку», створення цифрового ДНК. Проаналізовано розвиток нестандартних інноваційних моделей банківського бізнесу (розумний багатоканальний банк, соціально залучений банк, банк у вигляді фінансової або нефінансової цифрової екосистеми). Визначено напрями застосування сучасних цифрових фінансових технологій у банківському секторі. Проведено аналіз впливу цифровізації у банківському секторі на процес трансформації зайнятості.

    The COVID-19 pandemic has forced many countries to implement a variety of restrictive measures to prevent it from spreading more widely, including the introduction of medical teleconsultations and the use of various tools in the field of inpatient telemedicine care. Digital technologies provide a wide range of treatment options for patients, and at the same time pose a number of organizational challenges for medical entities. Therefore, the question arises of whether organizations are ready to use modern telemedicine tools during the COVID-19 pandemic. The aim of this article is to examine two factors that impact the level of organizational e-readiness for digital transformation in Polish primary healthcare providers (PHC). The first factor comprises operational capabilities, which are the sum of valuable, scarce, unique, and irreplaceable resources and the ability to use them. The second factor comprises technological capabilities, which determine the adoption and usage of innovative technologies. Contrary to the commonly analyzed impacts of technology on operational capabilities, we state the reverse hypothesis. The verification confirms the significant influence of operational capabilities on technological capabilities. The research is conducted using a questionnaire covering organizational e-readiness for digital transformation prepared by the authors. Out of the 32 items examined, four are related to the operational capabilities and four to the technological capabilities. The result of our evaluation shows that: (i) a basic set of four variables can effectively measure the dimensions of OC, namely the degree of agility, level of process integration, quality of resources, and quality of cooperation; (ii) a basic set of three variables can effectively measure the dimensions of TC, namely adoption and usage of technologies, customer interaction, and process automation; (iii) the empirical results show that OC is on a higher level than TC in Polish PHCs; (iv) the assessment of the relationship between OC and TC reveals a significant influence of operational capabilities on technological capabilities with a structural coefficient of 0.697. We recommend increasing the level of technological capability in PHC providers in order to improve the contact between patients and general practitioners (GPs) via telemedicine in lockdown conditions.

    Em função das recomendações da Organização Mundial da Saúde (OMS), a respeito do isolamento social, como tentativa de contenção do vírus causador da COVID-19, trabalhadores em esfera global passaram a realizar suas atividades laborais a distância, incluindo os de secretariado. Nesse contexto, este estudo apresenta dados da pesquisa “New configuration for Executive Secretariat Assistant a view on the remote work for teleworking and home office”, acerca do trabalho remoto na área do secretariado internacional, realizado a partir do cenário da pandemia da COVID-19. O objetivo geral é identificar os principais aspectos da reorganização internacional do trabalho na área secretarial, no contexto da crise sanitária supramencionada. Para isso, realizou-se uma pesquisa de natureza qualitativa e de caráter exploratório, com a participação de 41 profissionais que atuam em seis países e que responderam a um questionário virtual composto por 44 questões distribuídas em três partes: personal data, professional trajectory e workday. Os resultados apontam para mudanças na execução das atividades laborais, identificando-se, em alguns casos, o aumento dos fluxos de trabalho, a demanda por novos aprendizados relacionados às tecnologias utilizadas, a intensificação e a flexibilização do trabalho.

    As Organizações da Sociedade Civil (OSC) experimentam com usuários e coletivos a luta por direitos para pessoas em situação de maior vulnerabilidade social, buscando a garantia do direito de serem ouvidos e reconhecidos como cidadãos. Nos ‘tempos bons’ já é uma luta para que as OSC’s consigam mobilizar recursos, por meio de parcerias com órgãos públicos, a sociedade civil e o mercado. Esta situação se agravou com a pandemia da COVID-19, já que é necessário manter o isolamento para reduzir a transmissão comunitária. Apesar do fechamento inicial das OSC’s, as lideranças pioneiras não pararam de atuar, nem de mobilizar recursos. Além do desemprego e da fome, apresentam-se como desafios: a falta de produtos de higiene e proteção e a não realização de exames nos territórios em que atuam tais organizações. Neste contexto, as OSC’s foram os bastidores para construção do nosso caso de ensino, tendo como objetivo retratar as experiências envolvidas pelos voluntários e colaboradores nas comunidades carentes, apresentando algumas reflexões sobre a mobilização de recursos em organizações da sociedade civil. Para tanto, os autores analisaram a trajetória de um administrador, o qual atuou durante 18 anos em uma rede de OSC’s, tendo como foco central a experiência vivida por ele, voluntários, simpatizantes pela causa, dando exemplo sobre essa experiência de vida e o compromisso social aos mais carentes.
